♥ The Wedding Project, Sutton House Hackney

I had a great day recently exhibiting my photos at the Wedding Project at Sutton House, a National Trust property in Hackney, London.  It was a fun day in a beautiful setting - I'd love to shoot a wedding here, it's got such a gorgeous atmosphere.  I'm a sucker for old buildings, and there are so many nooks and crannies to explore.  Did you know it existed? Me neither, it's a kind of tucked away sanctuary in the heart of the city streets.

Here a few photos of my stall and my prints and albums...

A perfect opportunity to display my gorgeous new album and prints!

If you would like a complimentary stripy yellow bag with my info pack, business cards and camera illustration in, let me know your address and I can send you one! They are rather cute!

The jar comes from my grandad's old bakery and sweet shop - I filled it with marshmallows which went down with people of all ages, but especially the kids....

This lovely little lady was enjoying a marshmallow when I told her I loved her outfit - that skirt and jacket combo rocked! She was a natural in front of the camera (what a smile!) and in no time at all was demonstrating exactly how much fun twirling in it could be! Wish I could carry off that look...

The day was also a chance to meet other professionals from the wedding industry.  If you are looking for hair and make up there are two great companies that I can recommend.  Joyce from Brides and Beauty is an amazing make up artist and has an infectious smile and personality.

And it was fab to catch up with Hairport who I have worked with on a previous shoot.  They are a fabulously talented mobile hairdressing team, who are lots of fun!

And now a little taste of the rest of the fair...

OMG, Jewels By Design...I fell in love! Louise creates pieces by putting together old jewellery...when I was getting married I was desperate for an individual necklace.  The pearls with the heart and the monopoly style dog wouldve been perfect!

And there are no words to describe the delicious taste of the cakes on the dessert tables of French Made ...There was a whole table full of french fancy cakes...mmmmmm!

It was a lovely day - thank you to Karen and Laura for organising, and it was great to meet some lovely potential clients! Did you pop down on the day? I'd love to hear from you!
