Rupa and Neil, Part 1 : Wedding at North Hill Farm, Chorleywood
Ah Rupa & Neil's wedding was...EPIC. A two day celebration last August, I've really been looking forward to sharing this on my blog. Neil is originally from Canada and Rupa's family are from North London - the couple wanted to create a traditional English and a Hindu wedding but decided to split it over two days to maximise the celebrations! Here is day 1...a traditional English outdoor ceremony with beautiful flowers in the countryside, with a yummy indian banquet. Day 2 which was their Hindu ceremony will be on the blog tomorrow...
And then it was time to drive to North Hill Farm in Chorleywood - a gorgeous countryside venue. Rupa and Neil had a small legal ceremony the day before in a North London register office....now it was time for a double celebration with their family and friends. Their beautiful personal ceremony was held outside and the weather was amazing.
It was time to sneak off for some portraits of the happy couple...did I mention they were going to stay in a tree house on the evening of the wedding? Lots of fun!
Then it was time to wander back to the beautifully decorated marquee for a delicious banquet and some very emotional speeches and some awesome dancing. And yes that cake is from the Hummingbird Bakery, and yes it tasted as good as it looked! I love it when my lovely couples feed me cake! :O)
Time for home, bed and then get ready for day 2 the next day...pop back tomorrow for the next part of their wedding celebrations!
Massive thanks to Charlotte Bryer Ash for second shooting with me - she was awesome x
