Tie the Knot Wedding Carnival, Hexton Manor

For the last few months we have been cooking up a little plan...Erica from Mr and Mrs Unique and Binky Nixon also a photographer decided that we wanted to put Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire on the wedding map! Our vision was to create a wedding fair that celebrated unique and independent local suppliers...exciting times. So much hard work was put into the day by everyone involved - from organising, to setting up stands, to putting up tents and unusual marquees. Just awesome.

The music rocked, the food was delicious and the suppliers stands were just beautiful. Hair was pinned and curled into vintage rolls, make up was done, flowers bloomed, a poem on a cake made me cry (yes, I'm that photographer who weeps behind her lens...) photobooths were amusing, it went on! Loved the day from start to finish....we may have even had a cheeky vintage photo shoot in an old ford prefect as the day came to a close...eek!

It was so lovely to meet everyone - suppliers and brides and grooms to be! Thank you for coming along, it couldn't have happened without you. Also huge massive thank you to Erica and Binky and to Sarah at Hexton Manor. We hope this is just the first of many...bring it on!
