{Emily and Tom - preview} A wedding at Kenton Hall estate - a hand fasting ceremony and a barefoot bride!

On Saturday Emily & Tom's family and friends gathered in the woodland at the Kenton Hall estate, seated on hand carved stools, hay bales and deckchairs, to witness their hand fasting ceremony. It was the most intense and beautiful wedding ceremony I have ever photographed - incorporating the four elements of earth, wind, fire and water, connecting with their surroundings and the people there. Incredible and peaceful. I was very aware of the snapping of the sticks beneath their feet, birds calling and trees rustling as they married in front of the arch made by their friend.

Such a happy day, full of celebration and happiness - speeches that had everyone in tears, delicious food and boy, these guys now how to rock the dance floor.  A super stylish but relaxed and fun wedding that was epic from start to finish. Emily was so relaxed - they had done a meditation with their celebrant Jo the day before their wedding and this really helped to ground them. Did I mention Emily made her bouquet, the button holes and the bridesmaids bouquets....amazing!

And it was impossible not to sneak back to the woods just before I left to capture one last frame. I asked Emily and Tom to breathe each other in...and this was the result. Gives me goosebumps....

More to share soon - congratulations guys, have an awesome honeymoon.
