Sunny & Felipe's yurt wedding

So wedding season is officially over and I'm really looking forward to blogging some weddings in more detail - I share a few previews after each wedding but now in the winter months there's a little more time to blog! Sunny and Felipe live in London and got married in August in Berkshire where Sunny is from.  It was such a happy day, I drove home grinning!  Fil's family had flown in to join the celebrations from Colombia, so it truly was a special day.  It was just full of joy, with laughter and fun filling the church and yurt - just amazing! The whole day was planned as a family effort, and there was a really relaxed vibe.  It's a bit of an epic post, but there was just so many great moments.  And Sunny's cute little flower girls? I loved capturing their excitement...

And so it was time to jump in the campervan and head towards the little church St James the Less to meet Felipe....

 

 

Whilst I was photographing Sunny and Felipe signing the register, I heard singing back in the church....

 

"I've got sunshine on a cloudy day.

When it's cold outside I've got the month of May.

I guess, you'd say, 

What can make me feel this way? 

My girl! Talking bout, my girrrrl, my girl!"

The congregation were singing and swaying - the atmosphere was electric and I had tears in my eyes, there was just so much love in the room!

Sunny's brothers were in charge of the bubble machine! 

Sometimes it can be a little intimidating when I'm taking the group shots.... ;) 

And off to their reception as the rain began to pour - they had hired a yurt on the grounds of the Stubbings Estate just over the road...

And then the speeches began...

Let the evening celebrations begin...

 

And then Camper Coffee arrived - this was such a great idea, serving yummy drinks and brownies to their guests to refuel for the dancing! 

I think this wedding may just win the prize for the most hugs in a day ever! Incredible - thank you so much to the whole family for having me, it was an absolute joy to capture Sunny & Fil's wedding!
