Cornish love...
Going through old images digging out stuff for my new website's 'about me' page...and I realised I'm never happier than when I'm in Cornwall. It's in my blood. It's in my soul. It's a refuge and a comfort, I can't explain it, Cornwall just 'gets' me!
And the saddest thing is that I know I've never edited a lot of the images I found this afternoon and havent exported them as jpegs, they are still sitting as RAW files in my archives because I'm always 'too busy' with editing work images...I always think 'when I get to the bottom of the pile' but that never happens. I need to make time. It's too easy to become a photographer by profession and forget to continue to make your heart sing with images you take for yourself. Don't get me wrong, I adore my job, I adore the people I photograph...I just need to do a little more digging and get back to this....
I feel a Cornwall blog post coming on.....and another escape to the place that heals and inspires me. Here's to exploration...
Photo of me above taken by my lovely husband Daf (I set up the camera, he shoots! What a team) And the rainbow is peeking over the harbour in St Ives...
