Broadstairs shot on film

broadstairs belvidere place_0054A little personal post today, some images shot on fim.  Last weekend the weather was beautiful, so me and the boy decided to make the most of it and head down to the Kentish coast to Broadstairs.  We were both feeling a little burnt out and exhausted, our cat had gone missing for a few days (I was really upset!) and we just needed to recharge our batteries! So we arranged for our friends to check in regularly for the cat over the next day or so and decided to make a break for it...We've never been to Broadstairs before but somehow found the most amazing place to stay called Belvidere Place, if you are looking for somewhere quirky and beautiful then I highly recommend it - a very warm welcome and delcious breakfast on Sunday morning....coastal walks, sunshine, icecreams, beautiful light and discovering little antique shops and a brilliant pub/coffee shop/second hand book store called The Chapel where we spent Saturday evening drinking real ale and listening to live music.I took a roll of film, one camera and my 50mm lens - this year is about slowing down and shooting more personal work  on film, something I absolutely love - these were shot on Portra 800 film and developed by UK Film Lab.Weekends off are something to treasure, and I love exploring new places - good times :)broadstairs belvidere place_0051 broadstairs belvidere place_0052 broadstairs belvidere place_0053 broadstairs belvidere place_0050 broadstairs belvidere place_0055 And when we got home, look who returned from her adventures....hooray! A little skinny and desperate for food and lots of cuddles. Yay! I love her so.broadstairs belvidere place_0056
