Edinburgh street photography
Ahh just a little bit of Edinburgh street photography on the blog this evening. I guess since winning a place on the Film is Not Dead workshop back in February, I've begun a bit of a love affair shooting film. It's learning a new craft, slowing down my photography and allowing me to reflect. The tones, the depth, the waiting for a roll to be developed....and then marvelling at the excellent job that UK Film lab have done with my images...So here is Edinburgh on Portra 800 - in March I travelled up on the train for a couple of days escape before wedding season started with my lovely friend Lisa Jane, she's also a photographer. Time to relax, reflect and explore...Our two days in Edinburgh were filled with the botanic garden, noticing interesting doorways, drinking milkshakes at Mary's Milk Bar, pottering in little shops, eating much cake at LoveCrumb and hanging out in the awesome apartment we rented (who knew Air BnB could be so great!) and general photography and life chat....good times!
