Hitchin family relaxed photo shoot

The thing I love about family sessions is that I am recording a moment in time, of where a family is in their life right now. When my lovely friend Erica from Mr and Mrs Unique asked me to capture an informal family portrait for her dad's 70th birthday I couldn't wait.  It's like producing a little piece of family history, and it's so lovely to know that the image means so much to him, and that their family photo from August 2015 captures 3 generations and will be framed and hung on the wall of their home for years to come.  After the offical family photo was over, the kiddos enjoyed a summer afternoon in the garden and I loved capturing the fun and laughter.  Childhood is fleeting - so quickly the summer turns to winter and then to spring again, I want to be there to celebrate those moments when they happen and preserve them to look at as the years fly by!
