Intimate wedding at Camden Town Hall

Nina and Alex had an intimate wedding at Camden Town Hall in the heart of Kings Cross, with just their two best friends beside them.  They are planning a bigger celebration with many family and friends next year in their homeland of Germany, but wanted to tie the knot in London (a city they love just like I do!).  It has been so great to get to know this pair as they have planned their day - it was obvious how much a sense of place was important to them. They got ready at the ridiculously hip Hoxton Hotel in Holborn, and jumped into a cab to their tiny ceremony at the town hall in Kings Cross. With a dash of confetti, quiet portraits in the back streets of Kings Cross and afternoon tea at Sketch it was the perfect London adventure (Sketch is just off Regent Street, one of my absolute favourite places for afternoon tea and so beautifully designed, if you haven't been, go now!)There's something amazingly exciting about marrying in the middle of busy Kings Cross, with people from all over the world, buzzing around the streets below going about their day; making your vows in a quiet space in an old building that feels a world away.  I absolutely love photographing tiny wedding ceremonies, there's just something so personal and so sacred about them - such a special two hours I spent photographing that afternoon, here are just a few preview photos...  Hair and Makeup : Camilla J Collins   Bouquet: Wild at Heart Liberty of London  Nina's dress: Femkit
