Alex : A 'just because' portrait session

When Alex emailed me to book a portrait session 'just because' to celebrate just being her....I was really excited. She told me that she loved my work and had followed my blog for a while - and she's right, I recognised her from comments and 'likes' on my photos :) I couldn't wait - Alex is originally from Germany and is now a fully settled Londoner who loves the Southbank, yoga, travelling and is fun to hang out with. I really enjoyed our afternoon exploring and it was an absolute honour to take her portrait :) 

We started off in a pop up bar called Propstore put on by the National Theatre - made up of lots of props and backdrops from their stage sets! Awesome.

And there's the book stall under the bridge...always a favourite.

And then we wandered roofwards on top of the Southbank Centre, a magical little place away from the roar of the city and business of the world below...
